| Hiking: Passo Giau to Rifugio Averau to Passo Falzarego. Funivia or hike to Rifugio Lagazuoi. | |
| Leaving Passo Giau in the rain and skirting to the west of the imposing massif of the "Gusela," we hike to Rifugio Averau for lunch. We then descend through more beautiful alpine country and an uncountable array of wildflowers to Passo Falzarego. Some walk and some take the funivia up to Rifugio Lagazuoi -- perched at the top of the world -- for dinner, singing, and rest. | |
